The Oakmont Booster Club would like to invite you to the

15^th annual Oakmont Booster Club Golf Tournament
Monday, June 25^th at the Westminster Country Club, Westminster MA

This is a great event that supports the Districts Athletic programs and the Student Athletes.

Golfers are promised a day of camaraderie and friendly competition. Enjoy the Raffles, Silent Auction and to round out the afternoon the Awards ceremonies and Dinner. Contests include and not limited to Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Team Finishes. This year’s winning teams will not only win bragging rights, they will also have their names inscribed on the Golf's Tournaments commemorative plaque that will be displayed at ORHS's Hall of Fame Wall and will be updated annually with tournament winners! Your name could be forever etched into the Golf Tournament's history!

NEW to the tournament this year the "Cash Prize" - Putting Contest

There are several ways to participate this year

~ Register as a Golfer or Foursome: Registration fees include: green fees for 18

holes, golf cart, contests, tournament golf shirt, awards ceremony and dinner

~ Post Tournament Fun & Dinner: If you must work give some thought to
joining us for the post tournament fun: raffles, silent auction, awards ceremony
and dinner.

~ Sponsor: Levels include: In-Kind Goods & Service Sponsor, Friend of Boosters
        Sponsor, Silver Sponsor, Gold Sponsor, Platinum Sponsor. All will be recognized in
        the tournament program, advertised on the OBC's website, receive a
        tournament golf shirt, and receive banner recognition at the tournament and
        athletic events throughout the year. Please consider asking your company, or a
        company with which you do business, for a sponsorship commitment.
~ Volunteer: If you have the time, we have plenty of opportunities for you. This is a
       great way to get involved with the school and community. Send an email to
       Leo Correia- Gofl Tournament Chairperson.

Sports Schedules are Available

Team Schedules are available on High School Sports.net.

The Athletic Director suggests signing up for free schedule updates. Should there be a change to the schedule due to weather, etc., you will be notified by email and/or text message instantly. Check it out!

Athletes Give Back!

On Saturday, November 28th, 2009, athletes donated their time and energy for the Bill Wyman Yard Clean-up. In two short hours they cleaned up the entire yard and the basement as well. It was great to see the athletes representing several sports working together as one team. Be proud of what was accomplished!

The Oakmont Booster Club is an organization designed to foster interest in and support of inter-scholastic sports teams at Oakmont Regional High School and to promote, recognize, and reward excellence in athletics.

As a parent, coach, teacher, or a friend you have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our student athletes.

Athletes Move Donated Furniture

As part of Cushing Academy’s library conversion project, the school donated a number of library books and furniture. The furniture included bookshelves, study carols, tables and chairs. The furniture was moved by 16 Oakmont student volunteer athletes representing Field Hockey, Girls Soccer, Ice Hockey, and Lacrosse. Volunteers were organized by booster club team representatives as part of the OBC’s new focus on community service. The furniture was distributed to all of the district’s schools.

Thank you to Dr. Tracy, Headmaster, and John Moylin for their generosity and thank you to our students for helping with the move. OBC's first community project was a huge success!!!
